The more cameras, better? Find out if it's true or not.

The fashions are inherent to mobile photography as they are to so many aspects of a smartphone and one of the most recent and striking is to put triple rear camera, although we are seeing four and even more in terminals this year. Although the really striking beyond the optics are the current and future designs of the rear cameras, which apparently will not cease to surprise us.

In honeycomb, in "traffic light", excelling ... The options are diverse in order to overcome this current challenge of fitting both a component in such a small space (as explained in OnePlus) and also to differentiate. We review what we can see in the market and what leaks show us in the face of future designs for multiple rear cameras.
One of the manufacturers that has pushed this fashion of the multiple rear camera more is Huawei, with a Huawei P20 Pro that in 2018 boasted triple camera followed by a Huawei P30 Pro that does it with four this year. The design was familiar to us, since that third camera followed the vertical scheme for the double camera that we had seen in many smartphones before, although the Huawei Mate 20 Pro changed it by opting for a kind of central tile including the flash and remaining as a dice.

The fourth camera, starring the integration of a Time of Flight or ToF sensor (another of the most recent fashions) has not forced the manufacturer to change at the moment, since in the Huawei P30 Pro we see a design similar to that of its predecessor. But yes, apparently the next Mate 30 Pro will introduce changes in the design of the back to stay in a circular shape, according to the last leaked poster.
Nokia is a manufacturer with solera and it seems that in its new stage with HMD it still has some of that crazy innovation and design spirit. The last sample is the Nokia 9 Pureview, a device that confirmed a design that leaks made us very difficult to believe.

It is a hexagon in which five cameras are fitted, the flash and the depth sensor, so that each one is inserted in one of the vertices of the hexagon and also in the center of it in a double rhombus scheme. Very striking both in shape and number, but unlike many other manufacturers there is no bulge and all this is at the height of the back cover, without protruding and with some subtlety and sobriety within what fits.

In addition to this mobile, the brand's plans could include launching another with a peculiar rear. This is a possible Nokia 7.2 whose alleged photos circulated recently on the network and showed a rear module also circular like that rumored Mate 30 Pro and very similar to the Motorola, as we will see now.

There are two manufacturers whose rear designs bring more expectation for this year by assuming more drastic changes, and coincidentally despite being nemesis they have apparently thought of very similar solutions. We talk about everything that is rumored about the iPhone 11 and what has been leaked and confirmed from the Pixel 4: that outstanding tile-shaped module that reminds a bit of a glass ceramic for its glass finish on black.

In the case of Google it was the company itself that confirmed it last June with a tweet, although without specifying which lenses will integrate that striking module (apparently they are two cameras and a flash). Something similar is said about the next Apple smartphones, with hundreds of renders created by users based on leaks that speak of a triangle arrangement inside this outstanding tile, adding the wide angle to its telephoto lens and its standard lens.

We will see how this evolves. Some of the leaks are repeated and could be confirmed in months, thus seeing a greater diversity in the rear parts and putting into current debate the question of whether the aesthetics and design of these cameras really matter to the end user, given that in the end what really A priority on many occasions is that the photographic scheme gives the versatility and photographic quality that it promises.

FILTERED: The Samsung Galaxy X will have a folding and enveloping screen

The Samsung Galaxy X will have an enveloping screen

We have been hearing rumors for a long time about the possibility of Samsung launching a flexible screen phone. We know its final name, Samsung Galaxy X, and we have seen some possible designs of this phone with folding screen. But this new patent from Samsung could reveal the final design of the Samsung Galaxy X that would be characterized by having an enveloping screen.

This new patent, which has been leaked today, shows a smartphone with a screen that wraps the device on both sides. Presented at the United States Patent and Trademark Office on September 2, 2016, this could be the definitive design of the Samsung Galaxy X, or a different version of the flexible screen phone from the Korean manufacturer.

Will this be the final design of the Samsung Galaxy X?

As you will have seen in the conceptual drawings that accompany this article, this version of the Samsung Galaxy X would have a large main screen on the front of the phone that would wrap in the back occupying half of the back side. This way we would have a front panel to visualize contents and, possibly, the back part would be destined to give a similar use to what we saw at the time in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge being able to read notifications and emails in addition to accessing certain applications.

The Samsung Galaxy X appears on the manufacturer's website

We know that Samsung intends to launch a flexible screen phone throughout the next year, 2018 and already in 2013, within the framework of the CES in Las Vegas, the giant based in Seoul presented the Galaxy Youm, the first screen with AMOLED screen flexible. So it is not so crazy the idea that the Korean manufacturer bet on different models of your Samsung Galaxy X. More if we consider that they will make very few units of this smarphone with folding screen.

We have already seen the possible user interface of the Samsung Galaxy X, which shows a design very similar to ZTE Axon M, so it is likely that this filtered patent may end up being another version of the Samsung Galaxy X. Could it be a model with a 6-inch screen oriented to view multimedia content or read books?

Samsung begins to make prototypes of its mobile phone with folding screen

And to you, what do you think about this possible design of the Samsung Galaxy X? Do you think that a design of this type would be successful in the market?

Filtered the first Samsung Galaxy S9: Details

Almost without giving a break and when we are still reading analysis of the iPhone X and even the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung would be working already in the heir of the Galaxy S8 and attentive to what is coming, since the Korean giant would provide important new face to user. Although they have not transcended details about the possible aesthetic aspect of the terminal, yes they have leaked, in key of rumor, aspects on their benefits. The first of the novelties would come in the form in which the user unlocks the mobile and in this sense, Samsung would significantly improve what has been offered to date.

According to information published by the Korean Herald, the device would come equipped with a system for unlocking the mobile phone by means of the iris, which would significantly improve what Samsung has offered to date. The manufacturer continues to defend that the iris is still the surest way to identify the user and therefore continues to bet on this system, despite the limited results it offers. Samsung offers the user both the Galaxy S8 and the Note 8 - the company's two flagships - up to four ways to unlock phones (ordered from less to more secure): by facial identification, PIN or pattern, fingerprint recognition and finally, iris recognition.

The device would come equipped with a system for unlocking the mobile phone through the iris, which would significantly improve what Samsung has offered to date.

However, despite the available options, the user does not just reconcile with the last two terminals: identification by fingerprint by the location of the reader (it is in a remote position) and unblocking by the iris because it is not very precise and forces the user to look in front of the mobile by opening his eyes a lot (again, a forced position). So things, Apple once again demonstrated its historic ability to make easy the difficult, presenting the FaceID, a unique way to unlock the phone through the face that equips the iPhone X. The Cupertino giant ensures that this system is much more reliable that the fingerprint reader, but what surprises is how effectively it works and the manufacturer's faith in the system, which Apple presents as the only way to unlock the computer (along with the code).

The new recognition system that would equip the Galaxy S9 would work without problems in low light conditions and when the user wears glasses or moved his eyes, and as we have pointed out, Samsung is betting on this form of unlocking as the safest possible. But this would not be the only novelty of the team, and another parallel rumor suggests that, in addition to the iris, the new model could equip a fingerprint reader integrated into the terminal's own screen. Recall that one of the achievements of Apple with the iPhone X has been to remove the 'home' button to expand the screen size, forcing us to dispense with the TouchID. Well, Samsung could choose to move the sensor footprint to the front and under the screen, as suggested in another rumor on account of the announcement by Synaptics to be working on a sensor of this type for one of the leading manufacturers of mobiles in devices with "infinite screen".

But the novelties do not end here, since it is also expected that the new Galaxy could equip a Qualcomm 845 chip, which, among other functions, would support the ultra-fast Quickcharge 4+ charge. How would the user benefit? Although the real benefits of this charging system are still unknown, it is estimated that the Galaxy S9 could be fully charged in less than an hour, although to get out of a hurry, in half an hour there could be enough charge to end the day.

Available already iOS 11 in its eighth update in three months: iOS 11.2.1 already available

The latest version of Apple's operating system has received so many patches that it starts to look like my amended childhood pants.

Trouble in paradise?

Apple released on Wednesday the eighth update for iOS 11 after last week it was released a bug that endangered products using HomeKit.

iOS 11.2.1, already available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, can be downloaded from the device itself although it is always advisable to backup the information beforehand. Apple said last week that these days it would release this update.

Not counting the iOS 11 version itself, Apple has released eight updates due to several security and performance issues, although not all related to this issue-iOS 11.2, for example, was released with the premise of adding new emojis.

However, iOS 11 could be the version with the most updates to date: iOS 11.0.1, iOS 11.0.2, iOS 11.0.3, iOS 11.1, iOS 11.1.1, iOS 11.1.2, iOS 11.2 and the newly released of the iOS 11.2.1 oven. More those that are missing; Apple usually stops updating until it reaches X.3 or X.4.

On Wednesday also, Apple released tvOS 11.2.1, an update that is coupled to iOS 11.2.1 by bringing a security patch related to the vulnerability located in HomeKit, since the streaming box also has compatibility with household objects.

Wow! Samsung gives 200 Galaxy Note 8 to passengers on a flight

Monday in the morning. Still half asleep passengers of a flight of the company Iberia from the city of Madrid to A Coruña, Galicia, can not imagine, but today they will not have breakfast: they will each receive a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 .

The surprise is part of a campaign by Samsung with the airline Iberia, which for a few days has shown in its aircraft advertising Galaxy Note 8. "A year ago we asked you to turn it off, we welcome you today on board," says the information that accompanies the phone box and have posted several users on social networks.

Last year with the Galaxy Note 7 explosive, Samsung had to issue an international requirement for all phones to be returned, and asked its users not to use them on flights. In the United States, for example, the authorities banned them, so the company had to place device changeover points in several airports in this country.

Of course the tag # Note8Added quickly became a trend on Twitter, thanks in part to the fact that many of the 200 passengers tweeted about the surprise. Celestino García, corporate vice president of Samsung Spain, also traveled on the flight, and made Twitter known the action. In addition to our analysis, we spent 15 days testing the Galaxy Note 8 intensively, and this is our opinion of the team.

Will there be more flights with Galaxy Note 8 handsets? I would like my next flight to give me a Note 8.

iPhone X will be in stock at Apple stores on November 3rd

Despite continued reports of constrained supply of the iPhone X ahead of its November 3rd launch, Apple today confirmed that its retail stores will have the device in stock on day one for walk-in customers. Well, it’ll be in stock for the first few people in line, anyway. Apple’s press release says that anyone hoping to walk into an Apple Store and walk out with an iPhone X next Friday is “encouraged to arrive early.” That’s right: the lines of hopeful iPhone buyers camping out overnight are about to make a big comeback after what many perceived to be soft demand for the iPhone 8’s arrival last month.
It’s nice to see that Apple is already confirming that its retail stores will have at least some iPhone X stock to go around. In previous years, certain new iPhone models have completely sold out from preorders and been unavailable for walk-in buyers on release day. The iPhone 7 Plus (and all jet black iPhones) faced this initial shortage in 2016.

The iPhone X goes up for preorder at 12:01AM PT (3:01AM ET) this Friday, October 27th from Apple and authorized resellers. At Apple’s stores, the device will officially go on sale at 8:00AM local time on the 3rd.

IPhone 8 vs Samsung Galaxy S8: What we know

IPhone and Galaxy. Apple and Samsung. They are the Godzilla and King Kong mobile phone market and it shows every year. This 2017 touches a new duel where the iPhone 8 comes to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the North American brand, while the Galaxy S8 hopes to give another leap of quality to what has already seen in the omnipotent S7. In the absence of official presentations of each product by the brands, information based on rumors, leaks and some confirmations suggest that this year may be one of the most disputed between both.

What we know about iPhone 8

After a drop in sales of its flagship, Apple wants to recover the lost ground with the new iPhone 8. Its name during the project is the iPhone X and its goal is to make a real leap in quality over its predecessor after the A continuation evolution that had the 7 to 6. For this, will have a wireless charging system with which the user can charge the battery without the need to use a cable and plug, as assured analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of The company KGI Securities. This mode will be available on all models of the iPhone 8 and will be one of the new star of the terminal.

On the other hand, those of Cupertino are interested in incorporating OLED panels to their screens in the new mobiles. A step that seems more than necessary to live up to what has been handled for some time in the market in terms of quality panels and displays. Due to the high cost of production of these panels in their terminals, experts point out that we will only see them incorporated in the top model of the iPhone 8. We would talk about a total of three versions of the phone, being 4.7, 5, 5 and 5.8 inches respectively.

Concepts iPhone

As for the price, the specialized press indicates that the iPhone 8 will cost 1,000 euros in its higher range version. This would be due to the high costs of materials, such as the aforementioned OLED panel, as well as the other technologies that would incorporate the phone. In pursuit of a supreme finish, Apple will take advantage to get rid of its iconic 'Home' button for a smooth and tactile finish. The same will do with the side edges, covering the entire front of the display. On the other hand, one of the great unknowns is in the fingerprint reader, that to carry it is completely unknown in what form it would be integrated in the design.

What we know about the Samsung Galaxy S8

The Korean giant wants to redeem itself after the crash of Note 7 and what better than the new S8. It will not be presented at the Mobile World Congress, unlike other years, but there are already several information regarding the device. It is known that the design is very inspired by the S7 Edge, making use of the curved screen on the sides. In this case, Samsung will remove the physical button, just like Apple with the iPhone 8, making the front of the phone is almost screened almost entirely. Unlike what the brand did with the S7 and S7 Edge, this design will come in the two versions that will come out of the S8. In the size of the screen, the standard S8 would have 5.8 inches, while its top version would have 6.2. These screens would still have the technology Super AMOLED, remaining in the air the doubt of the resolution.

Steel Drake

In the section of the camera of photos, Samsung always has much to say. For the S8 has been rumored everything. At first it was not going to bring double camera, in the end yes. Some rumors suggest that said double camera will only come incorporated in the model of greater range. In addition, the fingerprint reader to unlock the phone will come right next to the camera lens.

On the other hand, it is known that the S8 will mount a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6 GB of RAM, although some experts venture to claim that it will come with 8 GB of RAM, which would be a very noticeable progress in performance. Finally, the prices aim to be 799 euros for the standard version and 899 for the 'top' finish.
