Android or iPhone: In the world there is no space for other smartphones




Through the analysis of Gartner , his latest document on the mobile market in the world gives an account of the complete dominance of the operating systems of Google and Apple.
 
According to the figures, the market share of Android and iOS systems reached 99.6% during the fourth quarter of last year , leaving in full oblivion to BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

The report also indicates that in the last months of last year, about 352 million Android devices were sold, while 77 million new iPhones were sold .
Meanwhile, Blackberry only sold 297 thousand units, while Windows Phone also lowered its share of new equipment.


 
The Android system dominates just under 81.7% of the market , while the system for iPhones does the same with a 17.9%.
 
That is why only the remaining 4% is for other systems, including Windows Phone with 0.3%. BlackBerrys do not reach even 0.1%.
 
As for the companies, Apple leads the list reaching 17.9% of total sales during the period of the last three months of 2016, closely followed by Samsung with 17.8%. Huawei came in third with 9.5% of sales, spearheading the boom in Chinese companies - including Oppo, BBK, ZTE, Xiaomi and Lenovo - which increased quarter by quarter.
